Post up the list of cars you’ve bought new. Note: No grumpy old man I would never buy a new car posts, not the point.

For me:

1986 Chevrolet Eurosport coupe.
1991 Chevrolet Cavalier Sport
1996 Ford Ranger XL

Then a lot of broke years followed by:

2018 VW Passat GT
2021 VW Jetta S
2023 Ford Mustang

I’m officially done for a long while I’ve got to cool it and drive the wheels off what we’ve got.

How about you?

2013 Toyota Camry (drove for a year before moving countries and leaving it to my dad)
2014 Ford Focus (lease, dumped as fast as I could)
2016 Honda Pilot
2017 Honda Civic

1986 Honda Civic Wagon (maybe the best car we ever owned)
1997 Ford Aerostar 3.0 shorty (great minivan)
1999 Honda Accord LX 5 spd 4 dr (also maybe the best car we ever owned)
2009 Subaru Forester (still with DIL)
2012 Honda Accord LX-P 4 dr (now with a son)

Still own the 03 Accord and Ranger (And TL, but it wasn't new). I'm not one to not keep cars. Approaching 50 and have only owned 6 cars, still own 3.

1983 Camaro - Sold
1991 - Miata - Sold, but should have kept
97 Rodeo got traded for the Accord
2008 Acura TL Type S - Bought used in 2016 - Still have

2012 Subaru Impreza Sport Limited hatchback. Still have it and it is running well. Total repairs at this point are sub $400. Not bad for 155K miles.
2020 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid Limited. Absolutely zero repairs and I will be hitting 100K miles next week.
