Driving since 1984 - here goes...
1972 Chevy Nova 250/Powerglide (Hand me down, Anvil tough, finicky carb)
1978 VW Rabbit 1.5 gas/4 speed (Fast, fun rattletrap)
1975 Chevy Malibu 350/TH350 (Fun car, should have taken care of this creampuff)
1967 Buick Special 300 V8/ST300 (Wife's car, cheapie rustbucket, great engine, switch pitch 2 speed trans)
1977 Buick Century 350/TH350 (Wife's car, whisper quiet Buick 350, cheapie rustbucket)
1981 Toyota Tercel 1.5/4 speed (Wife's car, ultimate strippo, Bulletproof)
1982 Subaru GL 1.8/5 speed (Wife's car, fun to drive, cheapie rustbucket)
1982 Toyota Tercel 1.5/5 speed (Bulletproof motor but car eventually rusted)
1982 Datsun 210 1.5/5 speed (Cheapie rustbucket, smooth pushrod engine but oil burner)
1966 VW Beetle 1200 4 speed (1300 engine was replaced by PO; miss this one)
1981 Toyota Tercel 1.5/Auto (Wife's car, VERY underpowered)
1985 VW Jetta 1.8/5 speed (Bulletproof)
1985 Audi 4000S 1.8/5 speed (Nickel and dime repairs, fun to drive)
1960 VW Beetle 1200/4 speed (Still have this one - hope to restore)
1989 VW Jetta Wolfsburg 1.8/5 speed (Nice car; rolled by my wife)
1990 Honda Accord LX coupe 2.2/5 speed (Miss this car, comfy and fun to drive, also totalled)
1990 VW Passat GL Wagon 2.0/Auto (Excellent handling, very roomy, posessed electronic tranny)
1986 VW Jetta GL 1.8/5 speed (Good car)
1994 Honda Accord LX Wagon 2.2/5 speed (Very good car, somewhat rare, was a fender bender magnet)
1990 Ford Ranger XLT 2.9/5 speed (Peppy, fun truck until rust got it)
1981 Mercedes 300SD 3.0D/Auto (Interesting money pit, 110+ MPH Diesel)
1991 VW Jetta GL Diesel (Very good car, 45 MPG, underpowered)
1998 Nissan Quest GXE 3.0/Auto (Good engine, comfy, electrical problems later in life)
1991 Volvo 740 2.3/auto (Reliable boring brick - still have it)
1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4.0/Auto 4x4 (Great, versatile, comfy car. 4.0 six is dead reliable - still have it)
This doesn't include the cars that my parents had that I drove and worked on on a regular basis before I got married:
'77 Chrysler Newport 400/727 (Ran like a scalded cat after the faulty Lean Burn was removed, sleeper for what it was. Huge back seat.)
'76 Toyota Corolla 1.6/auto (Underpowered tin can.)
'76 Pontiac Bonneville Brougham 400/TH400 (Beautiful car, like a couch on wheels, electrical gremlins, excellent Pontiac V8)
'76 Ford Granada 250/C4 (Great car, incredible A/C)
'73 Buick Regal 350/TH 350 (Beautiful car, tight.)
'77 Chrysler Cordoba 400/727 (Beautiful car, comfy, should have dumped the finicky Lean Burn on this one too.)
'79 Buick LeSabre Limited 350/TH350 (Great car all around.)
'81 Dodge Omni 2.2/auto (Clean cheapie that turned out to be a money pit. The 2.2 moved this tin can well.)
'76 Ford Pinto 2.3/C3 (Reliable tractor with four seats)
'82 Ford F100 pickup 232 V6/3speed (Great truck by itself but the early, rare 3.8 V6/3 speed manual combo ran like an out of balance washing machine. Gearing made 1st feel like 2nd.)
Whew...
