cars with high mileage

My 1986 Toyota Truck (22r,5spd,4x4) had 360k on it when I sold it. I bought it with around 200k. Outside of standard wear and tear items I never had any issues with it.

My 83 Silverado has 230K+ original miles on the clock, original owner.

My highest mileage vehicle currently is my 2012 Honda Accord with 62K miles. Previously I owned a 2006 Accord that I traded with around 125K miles, and before that a 1995 Accord with 225K miles.

I only own a couple vehicles under 200,000 miles. My parents Taurus has 380ish on it now and still makes a 100 mile trip every day. Nothing but 5w20 Castrol GTX white bottle since new. Still on the original transmission too. My mom said she’s gonna keep fixing it until she retires. Doesn’t want to rack up the miles on a new vehicle.

No big issues with the Sonata. Just finished up the usual 9k OCI with M1HM. No leaks, all OG stuff, and the car lives outside. Runs a 16 mile highway sprint in 12 minutes daily.
The climate gets to them before the mileage does. I make an effort to take care of what I can. A 1994 Camry with 209k has plenty of years left.
Yeah but how many miles on the Sonata?

My Explorer currently has over 180,000 miles on the 4.0 V6. My sister has been using it for the last several months. Keeps the oil changed regularly (different brands). Other than a recent tune-up, it has ran well.

My father in law parked his old 96 or 97 Lincoln Towncar with 300K on the clock. The shocks were completely shot. It had the original spark plug wires and very sporadic oil changes over it's life. I threw some cheap wires and plugs on it before I sold it for him and it ran great and sounded tight and quiet.

My current 2007 Ford Fusion has 264K at 10K OCIs with M1 20 wt oils. The engine still performs great and with only 4-7 OZ of oil consumption per OC.

My longest lived vehicle has been an '88 Ford Escort. Retired it in about 2011-2012 with 518K miles. Never used anything other than conventional oil and standard filters. 2 of the cars I currently own have over 200K miles and get the same oil/filter regiment. Only difference is until I guess around 2000 I did 3K mile OCI's, now I do a minimum 5K mile OCI.

Yep have a 2004 Toyota Camry with 260,000 change the oil every 3000 usually with Castrol or Valvoline and a Purolator One Oil Filter. The rest of the cars have under 200,000 on them lol.

1972 Datsun 510 198,000 miles. 1988 Camry 238,000. I feel modern cars are easily good for 200,000 miles if maintained.
