Not as big a mileage as some of you guys but at nearly 500k kms my W124 (originally my parents car) only had oil changes every 10/15k kms with 10w40 or 15w40 cheap stuff. It had a few sets of pads and rotors, all four struts, at least one bearing, flex discs, maybe a CV joint too and that's all i can think of. There's play in the steering box and the radiator just started leaking a few weeks ago. Everything still works, the interior it still very good. Can't say that about the paint however. Never been garaged, rarely cleaned, never warmed up and almost no highway use.
