Second oil change on the new Odyssey at 4,500 miles. Well built filter. Still catching glitter.
The CQ (Purolator/Mann) Blues are OK, but AAP wants a pretty penny for them-$10.99 regular price, might be able to get under $9 with a code. Too much for what you're getting (IMO).Looks nice! But I’ll stick with Fram Extra guard
Not with Speedperks. I use my personal account with my work card to get the Perks so all 4 filters were F R E EThe CQ (Purolator/Mann) Blues are OK, but AAP wants a pretty penny for them-$10.99 regular price, might be able to get under $9 with a code. Too much for what you're getting (IMO).
Looks good, what oil and filter went in and on?
I have enough Castrol Edge HM 0W-20 for this van's entire life, so more of that.Looks good, what oil and filter went in and on?
Sounds like a solid planI have enough Castrol Edge HM 0W-20 for this van's entire life, so more of that.
I popped on a CQ Premium 85334. I was just going to cut it open to compare it to the 84356 but I figured why not run it first.
That’s true, I’ve picked up a couple CQ HD (Baldwin made) ones that way. I need to find more ways to make work buy stuff there…Not with Speedperks. I use my personal account with my work card to get the Perks so all 4 filters were F R E E
CQ filters are also available with the oil change deals, which lowers the price of the oil + filter to pretty good price.
So you're going 'rogue' and using the older Honda (pre ~01-02) spec application filter. Obviously, no width restriction issues on the Odyssey for the wider application. Starting 08, on many Hondas (e.g. Accord), restriction won't permit use of wider application. Fwiw, I too would rather use it than waste it.....I popped on a CQ Premium 85334.....
When I was at AAP yesterday they didn’t seem to have CarQuest filtersThat’s true, I’ve picked up a couple CQ HD (Baldwin made) ones that way. I need to find more ways to make work buy stuff there…
