Carquest Premium 84356

Ecore Endurance would be OK, and if Fram/Champ Labs could make a smooth leaf spring and put a sealing gasket on the end cap for the leaf spring, it would rank up in OG Ultra territory.

Nice work as always. Thank You.

Kind of hypocritical when the Toyota filters are not made in the USA.
Otherwise,( not using USA, or maybe Mexico 2nd,) I would look at Toyota, or car maker, before heading to PRC or Vietnam. NOT hypocritical in the least. Don’t skip otherwise.
buy what you want, there isn’t anything made by fram/purolator/M+H that can touch a made in vietnam premium guard XL. if you MUST stay domestic i would buy a donaldson or fleetguard.
Of course, everyone buys what they want. It works the same for all posters saying what they want they buy. You can say what you want, so can everyone else. I want to do my small part helping American manufacturing, before there won’t be any USA filters made. That isn’t a tech point.
I think though since PRC filters are now expensive, various USA companies can stay in the game.

What would help the American filter manufactures the most would be to stop letting their products QA keep doing down the tubes and get manufacturing engineers, machinery and workers that know how to make better quality filters. I bought nothing but US made filters, until they turned to junk, and some like the Motorcraft with the crap glue might even cause damage to my engine.
