Braums Pizza? Interesting.... We hit the one in Bartlesville on our way up to the wife's family in Mizzou. Nearest one to me right now is in Tyler, TX.

I eat some in the summer, none in the winter. One or two homemade cookies, some ice cream, some fresh berries, maybe some liquor (remember the rhum pot?)....once every couple weeks or so.

Dude, do you have an alien growing in you?

Make it 15, and I'm with you.

ice cream constituents certainly seem to have changed over the last few years. i remember as a kid it had a specific texture, and it would freeze water if it got melted a bit and then re-frozen. now there seems to be some kind of plasticiser in it to keep it rubbery or gummy to stop that kind of freezing. the texture now totally puts me off. also, i have noticed a distinct change in magnum ice creams, i used to devour them , but now i only pick the chocolate off and let the missus have the ice cream (seems a lot more powdery)

crinkles look up Eraring Glory Hole

That's the outlet canal into which 60-70,000 litres per second of water channels before returning to the sea. It used to create square kilometers of foam, which were abated by a seaweed based icecream additive.

I'm pretty sure it's the one that stops the crystals.

Been eating a lot of ice cream for about 40 years. Sometimes I get off the kick, but most of the time, it's full tilt.

I DO NOT get ice cream headaches - Eat it about 4x faster than anyone I know. I could win ice cream eating contests easily!

IMHO you are setting yourself up for diabetes and/or other more serious conditions. You have a sugar addiction and I highly advise getting a grip on it if you'd like to live a long life. That is waaaay too much sugar.

It's an addiction, just like alcohol or smoking. He does it every day. It's far from moderation, IMHO. It's become habit for him. 1/2 gallon every 3 days is waaay too much sugar.

I've been around holistic health sites for decades, and they say sugar feeds cancer.

Everyone is different but I don't touch sugar with a 10' pole. It's the #1 health villian of all, based on the many health books I've read over the last 27 years and 11 years online. In most cases it will be THE cause of someone's health problems. To keep on eating that way would be like Russian Roulette. At his age, he needs to pay attention to his health if he cares about longevity.

Actually white flour is much more insidious than sugar. Sneakier and just as addictive - if not more so, in a stealthy way.

I think you said your piece about tpitcher's health. I agree with you that it's excessive sugar intake, but you made your point in your first post.

I think you said your piece about tpitcher's health.

And I may have more to say still. You and I don't see eye to eye, so I'd appreciate it if you didn't reply to my posts. I haven't liked the way you've spoken to me or others here. If there's a way I can ignore you, I plan to use it.

What I said is true. You made your point. I don't really care if you go on - but I see you don't like it when I rebut your posts.

You can put me on ignore if you like.

I do think it's odd how you can tell others what to do, how to live, etc. But if I try to help someone, you don't like it. I have said nothing rude to anyone. I tried to help one guy with his spelling and it really upset you. Can you give some examples of my poor behavior, rudeness, etc before you put me on ignore? Also, you may go to the mods or Helen again, but I think you should have some concrete evidence - just having a simple rebuttal to someone's post is not a violation of any rules.
