Can this site/people here, lobby Walmart to make a "quality filtering" Fram Endurance?

Since Fram Endurance is a Walmart only filter LET'S ALL start lobbying Walmart to actually change their specs to an actual "quality filtering" oil filter. Go back to the original designs. Someone here has to know someone in the automotive purchasing at Walmart corporate, or has the internet sloth to find the person. Then we start lobbying them. This site is coming close to dumping all Frams anyway, we can use that pressure too.

Option #2

Our lobby Microgard Select/Premium Guard XL to change it to a 99.9 @ 20um filter?

Going "back to the original designs" would be a manufacturer call, in this case First Brands. Imo, unlikely FB will make any changes, and I doubt WM influence would make any difference. That said, be great to see them go back to the OG Ultra design, but chances of that slim and none. Slim left town.

Well my Walmart no longer sells the Endurance. So big changes are being made. My guess is the Endurance is being replaced. In regards to PG XL and Microgard Select they’re already 99.5%@20 microns/99.9%@25 microns.

start lobbying Walmart
Two things: 1) A large faction here have indicated they're above shopping at Walmart, so why would they care about this ? 2) If it's selling, Walmart will keep it and QC isn't their concern. If there's an engine issue, it would be taken up with Fram, not WM anyway.

I have no idea what's "wrong" with these filters either. Is there a desire to have some fantasy-land level of filtration ? When a company like Fram (or WIX or Purolator or ??) says a filters works for an application, that means it meets the automaker's specs (or exceeds them). Why does it need to filter "more" ? If that's important to a buyer, they can find a better part.

Only way to change is to stop buying. Unfortunately were a very small group. So as long as people keep buying filters from Wal-Mart, they will keep selling this junk, and as long as Wal Mart keeps putting this junk on their shelf, M&H and Fram and whomever will keep making it.

Death spiral.

I wish I could find a decent filter at Wal-Mart anymore but I have not in a long time.

Most people won't notice and will never care.

It doesn’t mean that. And with the defects we are seeing it means even less.

While at it, can we lobby to bring back the SuperTech 7317?
I used those. You can still get them as the "champ XL" on RA and other places. However the same assembly issues that plagued the other First Brand filters seem to be following the Champ version also. I have one Supertech MP7317 left I am hesitant to use now since its about the same date code as this one.

I think I have better things to do

I’m sure that someone who works for Fram is probably lurking here and so if they haven’t addressed the issues with their filters then it’s pretty clear that they don’t care about their quality and are just trying to maximize profits
Like all corporations.

I'm probably the only guy here that could do that but I'm not interested 😛😜😅
On a serious note some here think it's quality if it's green 💚

Joking of course.....
We all know money talks so that would get it done.

Some still manage to figure out how to make quality products and make a profit too.
Unfortunately they aren't many with this business philosophy any more, as shareholders keep pushing for higher profits and share prices .

An ongoing adventure with Nebraska Furniture Mart makes it clear that even Warren Buffett is buying junk. I'm on my 4th replacement of a sofa. All have failed at 6-8 months into the basic warranty. They can't get parts to fix them. They just keep replacing them. I'd move up but the darn thing is so comfy. Getting a new replacement again later this week.

The worst part would be that the BITOG frugal would want it to sell for $5-7
