I got it for free I looked it up the Walmart branded "st6607" fits but AutoZone says this one doesn't and says "7317" does fit. Wondering if I'll have any issues

IIRC the 6607 might also be a bit wider, you would need to try.

I don't remember if I had one of those but I know that the Honda Filter for the S2000 (15400-PCX-004) does NOT fit on my '17 Accord or daughters '08 CRV it is too wide.

The Fram website lists the 6607 as their filter for the S2000 so "should" be the same. I would need to measure one of the PCX's.

When I did an OCI on the either Accord or CRV I had to take my bicycle down to AAP to get a 7317 version filter even though I had multiple Honda PCX filters. Both the 6607 and 7317 fit on my son's Forte though and that calls for a 9688.

If AutoZone says a 7317 will fit, then the 6607 will fit because it's just shorter. Sometimes a 7317 will fit where a 6607 is specified if there's room for the extra length on the 7317. The 7317 is the "over-sized" (just longer) filter over the 6607.

The "free" shorty 6607XL will work fine in the Civic. Likely the WM ST filter look up shows the 6607 because they don't have an ST 7317 as a purchase option, so they consolidate/downsize it to the 6607 filter. Many quick lubes do the same, using the (~.75") shorter version 6607 where 7317 is spec size. Otoh, AZ does have the Honda spec size 7317 application in the XL, so they do list that and is accurate for the Civic. That likely explains the difference in the filter look up options.

Quick lubes have been using the 6607 sized filter on most Japanese cars except for Toyota/Lexus for a while. Walmart also says the ST6607 can be used in place of a 7317 for the same applications. You should be OK.
