can auto rx restrict EGR flow?

I am n 2nd clean phase of auto rx. Yesterady, (60 miles and 2 days later) my check engine light came on, and code read p0401 EGR flow insufficient. Its a 95 plymouth neon, ATX, 82,000 miles. Is it possible, auto rx loosened up some crud and it got into the EGR? or maybe gummed hte EGR up? I am also using Valvoline maxlife fuel system cleaner. Might that have something to do with it?

i use fuel system cleaner on a reg. basis. redline S-1, cheveron techno and [bg44k at each oil change]. i just had to replace the egr system in my 97 dodge intrepid but it has not bothered my 97 dodge stratus or 96 nissan pathfinder. mechanic said she was pretty dirty and stopped up. once that was replaced and cleaned out it's run perfect.

intrepid had 120k miles and nothing had ever been done to the egr valve or system. really can't complain.

I was curious to know. I am not syaing its auto rx causing this. SOmetimes, i havea habitt, of Using lucas UCL EVRY tankfull, then at next 3 or 4 refills i'll use complete feul system cleaners. Right now, i am using valvoline maxlife. My next guess, was maybe the maxlife was claening too good or something. Past few times i used stp gas treatmen, 12oz in a 10 gallon tank, should only use 7 max, my oil pressure light goes on. Then after i flush with regular gas, it oil pressure light goes off. I dont think my car likes stp gas treatment lol. But, thats my hunch.

No.Auto-rx has no solvent or petrolueum based chemistry it has no effect on oil,it just cleans metal safely. Think the amount of different products you put into your engine (by your posts) would cause some your problems.
