Yeah and even I remember them even having the American Flag on their label saying something like "Made in America" or something to that effect. Was that maybe SM or SN? I can't remember when exactly that was.

As long as the formula stays the same or gets better without a major increase in cost, I don't care a whole lot who owns it. But I'm also not one of the ones freaking out about it either so yeah.
I agree. Good 5k oil for my Tundra. But, I am wondering if anything changed for Dexos 1.3.
Aside from ensuring limits for the approval, can't really have changed that much between 1.2 and 1.3.

Doesn't matter who owns it. It matters where the work is done and who is doing the work. There are a lot of satellite businesses that ALSO rely on a large local industry:
Delivery, gas stations, restaurants, pharmacy, suppliers, sales, childcare, electricians, plumbers the list goes on and on.
I worked at a 1.2M square foot manufacturing facility employing 9700 people that outsourced porduction and closed due to upper level (mis)-Management and greed. That area tuned into a ghost town in a year.
Talk about shooting yourself in the foot over "principle"

Really like the oil in 5W30 in my Tacoma doing 5k OCI. The price difference compared to M1 EP is a little suppressing. Thinking about switching to that next time.
It matters kinda to who owns it. Hugo Chavez ,Venezuela owns citgo. he just let 300 prisoners,dumping them into America .he does not like USA.i will not ever buy that fuel or oil.
