Building my own shed with patio

Your neighbor is quite the gardener.

Yeah, he grows quite a lot

I don't think I posted this anywhere yet, but I found the BEST electrical boxes. These are deep enough to be closed while in use (Assuming the cord is not too thick) but is still almost completely flush with the outside. $50 a pop so not cheap. I am going with a 20a outlet with the tabs broken, top outlet on L1 and bottom on L2, and then an L14-30R on a 30a outlet

I will have 3 of these boxes around the shed. They will share a single 30a outlet, and 2 x 20a breakers

Covers don't seem to exist for this config, so I had to get creative. Don't worry, I have some stainless screws on the way too

I got some cement board on my house, on some huge gable walls, and I sometimes regret it. Its nice because it will never rot out, but thats all I like about it

I really do like wood

Haha, so 3.8 feet and 3 foot 8 inches are somewhat different! I measured my door for 3.8 feet which is 45.6. The door I actually ordered was 3 foot 8 inches, which is 44 inches!

Thankfully, I had not yet figured out what I was doing for trim, so just adding 1 inch (3/4 actual) trim on either side fixed my mistake

Came really good. I was a little bummed its slightly smaller, however its still a really big opening, big enough for a shed I think. And the smaller the door, the stronger it is

VERY VERY happy with the door

Stuff happens

My very first house my very first work bench in my garage I neglected to account for the floor slope. Luckily also easily remedied!

Neighbors are going to love, looking at that, every day.

Next that salad bowl lawn needs a ton of love. Trees are all overgrown.

Any permits pulled for this job?
