Can't see the associated article, but the pic looks like its from a shop. Without knowing what the sump on a Bugatti is I'm going to guess that is enough oil for a couple oil changes, and the $1500 is for a couple special rate Bugatti oil changes. Not actually $1500 worth of oil on its own.
Hmmm, massive sump volume, heat exchngers all over the place, what were they thinking with 10W60, when Ford engineers are happy with 5W20 on engines without oil coolers ?
