Sorry that you feel slighted or offended.

I find it incredulous that someone would buy a GT Mustang of all things (or a BRZ), and then have it cut power on the track to protect the engine against a 20 grade oil thinning out, entirely within the performance envelope of their bog stock off the shelf vehicle.

I know that the Bugatti buyer wouldn't stand for it...and Bugatti don't care about CAFE...

What I was suggesting is clearly consistent with the message of the University 101 also...

Again, apologies for offending your sensibilities

Maybe you ought to stick to feuding with people who are present instead of preempting what they might contribute to any given topic. Only my sense of humor has been offended. It's a regional thing.

Did all your cars come with stickers saying "Warning: Old Woman Driver!"?

When we bought our '99 Accord new, I worked it gently up to 100 indicated on the way home just to do it.
I'd have done the same with the '12, but my wife was following in the Forester and wasn't sure of the route home and I didn't want to lose her.
We've owned a variety of cars over the years. We've learned that there is no better AWD than that found on a Subaru. We've also learned that there are psuedo tough cars and then there are Hondas. We've had eight Hondas from 1976 to 2012 vintage.
Does that answer your question?

Much cheaper from a BMW store.
Still, how neat would it be to have a jug of Castrol Bugatti 10W-60 in your stash?

I do!

If I take my jug to the Bugatti dealer, and ask for it to be filled with their bulk BGMO, do you think it will b the same product as in your jug ?

Thats too much.

Haha I thought Shannow was serious about recommending 5W20 :^P I was thinking someone kidnapped the real Shannow and an imposter was posting in his place! Because I know Shannow is a thick oil guy like myself :^)

Hard to offend something that you don't have.

Luckily my sense of humor doesn't rely on trolling.

Don't take it so seriously. No one was trolling. After all, none of the users of this board is likely to own one of these vehicles, much less need to locate this oil or source an alternative. So, obviously, it's going to denigrate into jokes.
