+1 Currently that means lots of SOPUS. QSHP, PP, and Quaker State Green.

lifetime PYB&QS user recently switched to valvoline products because its what our supplier to our fleet carries and I can get
jobber price (and alot of freebies) for my personal vehichles, so I guess I am not that brand loyal after all. still stick to the Motorcraft on my 3.0 dohc as imho it is the best 5-20 non full syn.

If you buy ahead, when you can get a deal, maybe a MIR, you can use pretty much what you want.
In the past several months, there have been MIR offers on Edge (current), M1, M1 EP (current), M1 AFE (current), PP and Valvoline (current).
So, unless you are a dedicated user of a botique oil, you can get a deal and stick with a brand.

Basically the same here. I have brands I am loyal to and use. I do not buy other brands just because they are on sale. Obviously if a brand I use is on sale I buy it. price is not the deciding factor for me. The only influence price has is it takes me to the store selling my preferred brand cheaper than the others.

That doesn't make sense to me imo. I buy whatever "name brand" is on sale. No sale, it's either QS or MC5000 since I hate rebates.

One of the reasons I don't buy store brand oil is I like to stick to the same thing so I am not wondering what changed. You never know when they are going to get a lower bid from somebody else.

One of the few problems I have ever had was bad sludge in my 81 Phoenix after it was older. After years of running Pennzoil, I had switched to the cheaper Quaker State for a while. I can't say if either was th ereal cause. Could have been the owners' manual and it 6 month OCI for short trips.

Not brand loyal here.
I tend to find the deals where you can get a "major brand" of synthetic oil for around $2 or less a quart and then stock up.

I have 24 quarts of QS HP for $2/qt

15 quarts of Valvoline Syn $1.50/qt

10 quarts of Catrol Edge for $2.20/qt

Now if I was brand loyal that means I would be paying $5-7 a quart in these parts for non sale oil. Money talks.

Not brand loyal.

Whatever is on huge sale. Little sales don't count.

Recently got in on the Trop-Artic syn blend for $1.42/quart and then the Delvac $12.99 BOGO @ O'Reilly's.... replacing the previous Rotella/Motorcraft stash. Man, I was just about to run out !!!

Life is good.

Brand loyal for my cars and my girlfriend's car. Redline or Amsoil only.

For my mother's car that's going to the junkyard in a year I buy whatever decent oil is on sale. PP is the oil of choice but it's seen just about every brand that's made. I found some on sale a while back and when my father got back from Iraq for a visit he shook his head at me running a synthetic in it.

I have two needs for oil... Dino & Syn.

I buy the syn from Amsoil which doesn't have sales, just good pricing for a good product.

Then I have my dino collection for the Cabriolet and this is whatever is a good quality dino that I can find on sale.

I'm not brand loyal. I used Valvoline back in the early 70s. been with M1 for 31 years since. See, I do skip around.
