I ordered a few filters from www.autohausaz.com, and I was suprised coming across this animal.. Of the two Bosch filters I'd ordered, one was the newer Purolator type, and this one was a made in Germany variety. The cross reference to Fram is PH3387A (the filter used on most GM OHV engines). The thing is built like a tank, and almost as heavy, seems a bit bigger than ones I've used before. Has anybody used these? Any experience/comments/info, etc would be appreciated.
