Parts plus PH2876 any good?

Parts plus PH2876 99% at 40 microns!

Yep. The non EX version has typical oem efficiency. Actually better at 95.1%@20 vs some Asian favorites in the 50% range.

I just bought a couple dozen of these for all the family cars I service. Very clean construction and heavy little buggers for the size. Nitrile adbv which doesn’t bother me as I won’t run a filter past the OLM. We shall see.

Update:

The PX on base finally has the XG 7317 back in stock!
I bought two, even though my oil change has already happend. (2300 miles ago)

At least next time I will have a known good filter to use to give me confidence.

Ironically the PX is sold out of any full syn 0w-40 and 5w-40 oil my preferred viscosity grades.
I may have to buy 7 quarts ahead of time when I see them back in stock even though my oil change is not due.

Curious what the cost is at the PX.
You're in luck, my GF kept the receipts from todays shopping (most of it for her, as you migth have guessed):

The Fram Ultra XG7317 was $9.95 a piece at the PX Ramstein.
A real good price i think especially since the , to me, less trusted filters I was picking up elsehwere here, where all in the 11-13 Euro range ( 1 Euro =1.05 USD give or take, depending on the day)

@WeyounDS9 - If next time you find the Parts Plus PH 2876EX that would be a good option also or maybe they can order for you. I just got 6 of the "various manufacturers PG4612EX" from Rock Auto. 2 came from one warehouse and 4 from another. Here they are, physically identical as far as can tell. I'll need to compare to the CarQuest premium tomorrow.
