Vehicle: 2011 Honda Fit 5MT 1.5L ~87K miles
Out: Parts Plus PH2876 / Supertech 0w20 / 1392 miles OCI
In: Premium Guard PG4610 / Supertech 0w20
This jobber grade Parts Plus PH2876 filter came from RockAuto purchased in early 2025 sold under the moniker Various Mfr PG4612 as a 6 pack box for a unit price of $1.77. I believe it is made by Premium Guard. Not much to see here the engine is probably pretty clean internally. It didn't get driven much this past year after we acquired the 2007 Prius and have been driving the hybrid more for road trips and daily driving. This Fit gets 32 mpg on average and I'm the only one who drives the manual.
I opened this filter about 2 months ago and quite a bit of the saturated oil had drained away from the media during that time. Only a few sporadic visible black specks are noticeable in the partially disassembled media folds. I installed the taller cousin PG4610 filter in its place.
