Big dent in the roof

Thinking of some DIY possibilities as a bodyshop isn't in the budget on this $4-5K car.

1. Suction cup to work it up from the top.
2. Jack and some supports to push up from the inside.

Anything else? Doesn't have to be perfect, just get rid of the rooftop lake after a rain.

Look up you PDR places in your area...They may be able to get all or most of it our without painting...

Toilet plunger might work on that. Could also install a sunroof.

There are cheap paintless dent repair do it yourself kits on Amazon. Could try one of those.

If it were me I’d get a quote from a paintless dent repair pro, though, and just tell them it doesn’t have to be perfect. 80% of their time is spent getting it perfect.

I'm guessing you could push that out by hand.
Just put a towel over your hands to avoid smudging up the roof liner.

The area around the driver's head has some sharp creases so may check on dropping headliner if not too much trouble.

Is there a dome light you could pull to get to the inside to push?

I closed the hangar door on my X-Type Jaguar. Much worse than that. I used my legs and then punched it hard. So I could drive it home. Then the paintless dent guy got it looking darn good.

Don't be afraid to use your feet.

You did good. Now take the headliner off yourself and take it to a PDR shop. Let them do the best they can and if not perfect live with it.
