Neo
Redline
Amsoil

M1 all the way here too. I haven't tried the Extended stuff and probably don't want to. I believe oil should be changed out every 10k or 1 year because they are the cheapest part of the maintenance.

IMHO, for daily drivers, "normal" cars and "normal" driving conditions:

1. Pennzoil Platinum (best value when on bogo, rebates, etc.)
2. Amsoil (best overall)
3. Schaeffer's (only from what I've read...sounds like a great oil)

Amsoil (best overall)
Redline (best racing)
Pennzoil Platinum (best value)

This is my opinion!

Ok, I'll bite.

Redline, Motul v300 and GC, in that order.
Delvac 1 gets honorable mention.
PP at BOGO gets the value award.

Ask me after several beers, and I might say old Kendall GT-1. It gave me the same rush as any synthetic has. I think G-Man is currently having a love affair with it.

Not that any of these would be the best oil in your vehicle.

Maybe we should do one for worst synthetic oil?

Only ever used Amsoil syns... well except for that Motomaster Syn I used in that mighty 3 cylinder geo metro in the early 90's

So, for sh1ts and giggles:

1. amsoil
2. PP -> from the good things I've heard
3. mobil 1 because it's available everywhere
