That would be an OK choice as would Redline 5W-30 or Amsoil RD30.

Define "run hard" please. Is this oil to be used in the engine on a race track only? Do you want to 'run it hard' on the race track dump the oil and run w/e on the street? Or, would you like some really good protection only for the street?

IMO, if you want the latter, you might try Amsoil AFL 5w-40 European Formula or some HDD 5w-30.

If you are going to race and run hard, and know what you are doing, youll be able to tell us oil temperature. What is it? For a true racing/hard run engine, the temperatures seen will drive lubricant spec. Youll pick a 0w-, 5w- or 10w- oil for low-temp startup properties.
