There is no true “best” oil filter. If your are looking for a great all around oil filter the Fram Ultra is very hard to beat for the price.

Sure there is, a bypass filter that takes everything down to about 2-4 microns out of the oil.

bigger is better with the same internals + without a doubt a BYPASS $$$ system is BEST as common filters must allow a certain flow, BUT for those running a too long oil change changing the filter at halfway is an EZE DIY for those using costly REAL synthetic oils!! besides a bypass system using a remote mount allows a BIG common filter
