Is there a high mileage oil that stands out from others when it comes to seal conditioners. Have a 2011 impala will leak 1-1 1/2 quarts over 3 months. Have been using mobil 1 5w30 high mileage the past 2 oil changes, and the puddle of oil in the driveway doesn't look any smaller. Thanks

The oil that comes with a engine gasket set. I don't think High mileage oil is going to help a leak that size.

I’m using Valvoline high mileage in my 260k mile Chevy pickup. It makes 3k mile OCI’s without adding oil, still leaks a bit though. I guess I could regasket the engine or just let it roll.
You already which way I went….

Mobil 1 High Mileage already has good seal conditioners in it so chances are no other high mileage oil will fix this leak, but you may want to consider switching to something a bit cheaper like Supertech if you have to continue adding.

AT-205 is a good product that does work there is many success stories on it, but me personally after the leak is either slowed or stopped I would do an oil change to get it out of the system and run whatever high mileage oil you prefer.

I have been using SuperTech High Mileage Full Synthetic 5W-30 oil for quite a while in my 135K+ mile Odysseys. None of them leak any oil at all. I would like to think that the seal conditioners in that oil are helping, but it's hard to know for sure.

Has anyone else had a good experience where SuperTech High Mileage Full Synthetic reduced or eliminated an existing leak?
