The important thing to remember is that these professional airmen are trained spotters and I would bet that when they say they saw a craft or object act intelligently not of this world they probably did.
Sorry pal, but even your "trained professionals" only have testimonial evidence. And as anyone with an IQ above room temperature knows, humans, all humans, and fantastic at misinterpreting what they see no matter how well trained they are.

Again, that's a load of bunk. Your "professionals" lie and cheat all the time to gain fame and position. A real discovery in UFOs would make someone world famous, yet there has never been anything beyond testimonial evidence and pseudo-science. Why would anyone be afraid of ridicule if they can prove the existence of UFOs and aliens?
People as a whole are foolish, and there are some who will believe anything no matter how outlandish it is. And before you start reciting the standard government cover-up, consider that it would require a perfectly united intergovernmental world conspiracy. North Korea despises the U.S. but co-operates with it on UFOs. The old Soviet Union during the cold war, same thing. A lot of countries in constant conflict all around the world; when it comes to UFOs they are united even when they are at war. If there is an advantage to exposing the existence of UFOs to irritant their enemies, they won't take it.
UFOs are nothing more than lights, reflections or military maneuvers in standard aircraft, misinterpreted by weak minded people as alien activity.
