best conventional for winter

I use 5W-30 full synthetic year round. My brother refuses to run synthetics fearing oil leaks, his engine(5.4L V8) has 65K miles.....any suggestions on a DINO which has better cold weather pour stats for the winter months?, thanks

Best : Pennzoil 5w-30 ccs is 5400 at -30c pours at -44f

Better : Mobil 5w-30 ccs at 5500 at -30c pours at -39f

Good : Chevron 5w-30 ccs at 5700 at -30c pours at -33f
