Best 2 stroke oil

Like Super20dan, I used Mobil 1 2T until it wasn't available any more. I had a stash but finally ran out. I remember the red color. Maybe that's why I use Echo Red Armor today!

That is a very special oil made for the Johnson Evinrude E-TEC engines (if I remember correctly). That's why E-TEC is with big letters and first bullet says "Direct Injection Oil". I've read once the PDS of this oil—it's very thin oil and is not designed for premix.
I'll be happy if you show me where on the label says premix.
Well it's long gone and I'm using something else now.

My Echo, Stihl, Toro, Poulan and Husqvarna equipment ran fine on it.

The label says two stroke. Good enough for me.

If it is thin injector oil it should be ok for premix. Just not the other way around. Thick oils struggle passing through those tiny oil lines.

That is right.
So, if you want to run injectior oil in a machine designed for thick premix oil, you should increase the oil. But usually injector oils mention premix too and I don't think that oil mentions premix. When I was researching that XSP oil, people wrote that he true premix oils are XD30 (conventional) and XD50 (synth. blend)—these are good for carb engines and XD100 is exclusively for E-TEC and DI engines.
Matter a fact to run XD100 oil in your Johnson/Evinrude engine, you have to contact the dealer to reprogrammed your EMM E-TEC.

"Evinrude/Johnson XD100 Oil Evinrude/Johnson XD100 oil is preferred for your Evinrude E-TEC outboard. This synthetic formula oil provides uncompromised lubrication and superior performance, even in extreme conditions—especially in cold temperatures down to 0°F (-17°C).

If requested, an authorized dealer can program your Evinrude E-TEC outboard EMM for the exclusive use of Evinrude/Johnson XD100. Only an authorized Evinrude dealer can program your outboard for this optional benefit. Oil consumption is reduced ifthe outboard is programmed for exclusive use of Evinrude/Johnson XD100 as compared to using a conventional oil. The XD100 oil setting is not available on all models."
