What do you guys do with yours? I don't eat bacon except when it's on sale so I got 5 pounds of store brand apple wood and peppered bacon for $15. As such, when I make bacon I get a lot of grease that I don't want to throw out. There's gotta be more ways to reuse the bacon grease in other recipes.

I was letting it season my cast iron pans until I found cat hair there.

I fill a coffee can and send it to the dump.

Had a subsistance farm uncle who used it to grease his boots and other leather items. When he came to our house our cat and dog would follow him around. They were looking for a bacon handout.

its tasty but to the landfill it goes i know better for my health. i will fry the eggs that morning in a smidge of the bacon grease but won't hold onto it afterwards.

Most of the replies in this thread are either sad or pathetic. But, mostly sad and pathetic.

Bacon grease was literally sent down to us from God himself as one of the best cooking fats. Tied with beef tallow.
