My wife doesn’t eat pork but I save all my bacon grease in a mason jar in the fridge and then use it for eggs, chili, and anything else I make that’s only for me.
I do the same with any pan juices/fat from any protein I cook. Amounts rarely require a mason jar but are great to impart flavour into the next day's whatever I'm making
Bacon maybe 4 times a year.
I save it up to make bird suet feed. My mom use to feed wildbirds and I got the suet feed idea from memory of her doing same many decades back.
I have some wierd aversion against waste if i can dream up some, and at times, convoluted use for things. Stong aversion for sending stuff out in the trash to the landfill. Use to throw the container of used bacon grease on brush pile and burn it up with the yard waste along with anything else that burns clean and hot.
