Are EVs the death of the performance ICE market?

I enjoy my hybrid driving dynamics more than ice vehicles and I am 53 years old.

The EVs can be **** quick.

The torque of an electric motor is so satisfying.

I see mustangs and challengers with loud “performance exhaust or open pipes, and they just appear to move slow…loud and slow.

I grew up on small circle tracks where you could feel the big block wedge cars rumble by before the start of a race, and when the race started it was an unmistakable roar. Sweet memories. But I bet an ev could be set up to dominate a circle track late model Saturday night circuit.

If anything, I think it will push ICE cars to being more performance oriented, and possibly NA and stick shift

I love EV's, but I want my bike to be ICE. Just something about riding up through the gears, getting a perfect downshift, etc

It’s all about the experience. I love EVs, but I’ll never fall out of love with the mechanical feel of a good gearbox and a great exhaust note.
