I really want to get a Mityvac oil pump to change the oil in my Chargers. Both have Pentastar engines. Is anyone using a Mityvac (or know someone that has) to change their oil. It has the filter on the top end so it would be really easy.

Also what Mityvac between the 7201 and 7400 is the better model. It looks like a split on the Amazon ratings but I need some BITOG expertise...lol

I don't have experience with fluid extractor with Pentastar Engine.

I have Mityvac 7201 for more than 8 years now, I bought it to change oil in my E430. It is super easy to change oil in that car, because the dipstick tube designed to use a fluid extractor and the cartridge filter is on top of the engine.

I used 7201 to do oil change in LS400 and S2000 too, but it is hard to siphon all used oil from the pan because it is hard to judge when the tube is touching the bottom of the pan.

I also use 7201 to do ATF, PSF, brake bleed ...

Of the two, 7201 and 7400, I like 7201 better because I can dispense the used fluid into a recycle container without using funnel and making a mess.
