Hello guys! I have several well maintained transmissions and my good friend who owns a mechanic shop has me trying this in my transmissions. He uses it in all his vehicles and I think I'll give it a try in my 2012 Honda Accord V6 with 160,000 miles. I have done 2 or 3 drain and fills every 15,000 miles so it has been maintained really well with fresh ATF. I just do the drain and fill and not a suck machine and I'm curious if after the cleaning process is done will 3 drain and fills will get all of the old ATF and BG cleaner out? What do you guys think? Should I do 4 or 5 to make sure? I do the drain and fills myself using Honda DW-1 fluid.
I also going to try it in a 2004 Volvo XC70 which has a Asian Warner(Toyota) transmission and my 1997 Sierra with a 4L60E. Both have been flushed and filled with a machine every 30,000 miles and the ATF is always clean. Thanks guys!
