I am the original owner of a 2008 Toyota Sienna LE with 105,500 miles. Last time I did a transmission fluid drain and fill was at 43,500 miles. With all the pro and con information out there about doing a transmission fluid service, out there, should I do another transmission fluid drain and fill even though this is an older higher mileage vehicle? There are no transmission problems thank goodness. The vehicle has been driven normally and has been well maintained. Thank you in advance.

Do the transmission service ASAP. You can never get a transmission or its fluid "too clean". Find the "severe service" recommendations for your vehicle and use that as a guide.

The old tale of a transmission fluid replacement causing failure just will not die.
I don't know. I changed the ATF in our bought new 2017 Explorer with the 6F35 tranny and after changing the ATF at 10,000 miles, 20,000 miles and approximately every 25,000 miles there after the tranny died at 99,000 miles. If I left the factory ATF in for 150,000, as Ford recommends it would still be working. JUST KIDDING, ;), a poorly made tranny will die a bit later even with excellent care.
