I have peeked but ROI is not there. My mentor had made it to director of engineering level at major software companies without a college degree age 54. He says get skills/certs and they hire. I am a principal software engineer but in contractor role.

An electrician.
We did multiple times. We also just received the second ERC check.
Good $$$ to be made once you get your license.
If it’s paid for just do it. No down side. I have a bachelors and have taken Certification classes later in life . Going full time would be really hard. 1-2 classes at a time isn’t bad. I wish I knew what I wanted to do so I could go back. Nothing interests me enough for a masters if I’m paying.
That’s the plan. I left a decently paying, but dead end job to do this.
Sometimes I still wonder what I was thinking so we shall see how it plays out.
