do they stock ST filters and oil?

If not, what other oil products do they stock? I live in Montreal and am thinking of driving over the border for a little BITOG ocd browsing/shopping

I'm currently using Amsoil XL 5w20, with a carquest (old wix filter with nitrile valve) oil filter. Seemed like the best option for where I live. However, since Plattsburgh is just around the corner (1 hour drive), I thought I might check it out.

Not that impressed with the carquest filter at almost $6. I'm thinking there must be something better for the price. And there's no way I'm paying over $10 for a Purolator at Canadian Tire, even if it is marketed as a Valvoline MaxLife premium filter. And the Honda Canada filter, well we won't beat that dead horse. There is simply no way I'm screwing on a filter that is 2.5 threads deep onto my car. The stock filter that came with the CR-V was such better quality with 4-5 threads deep, proper silicone valve, thicker casing, etc... I'd love a EAo Amsoil filter, but $16, really? That's a little much for a filter which will get changed out every 8000 - 10000 km.

I'm thinking of getting a stewardness I know to buy me Honda filters when in Japan. However, I would love a more convenient option if possible.

And if there's a better place to shop in Plattsburgh please let me know the details.

Thanks in advanced. Newbie here, so be gentle. Any newbie errors are unintended

I will do just that. Any other ideas on places to shop just over the border from Montreal?

Just called the Plattsburgh store and I asked what brand of oil/filters they carry, answer was 'all FRAM'. Then I asked if they stocked ST products and was told 'yes, we have ST for some applications'.

Then used Wix's 'where to buy' link on their site and found G & G auto supply, who carry Wix filters for $6.65 each. I assume these are the new Wix filters, and not the old version I can buy at Carquest for about the same price (when you consider our wonderful Canadian GST, which is 15% sales tax on everything you buy). But since the greeback is hurting right now, probably a good time to buy in the USA

Anyone know how makes the Walmart brand 'Tech 2000' at Walmarts in Canada? Search function on BITOG didn't return any results for this product.
