Not just supplements but also by eating fatty fish..... Everything in moderation it seems.

I tried to make supplements work for a long while and got no relief.
These are proven drugs for BPH and for most men have very tolerable, if any, side effects.
By the way, fish oil supplements have been shown to possibly enlarge the prostate on their own.
Good luck. See your doctor.

I'm 74 and my VA doc tried several of the standard BPH drugs. I didn't tolerate them so he tried me on 5mg daily Cialis. Works like a charm!

UM, i have hear almost exclusively that having the prostate remove has a significant large result of loss of erection and bladder leaking for the rest of your life.

Yes that is true, not a surgery to be taken lightly.

Agreed. And thus my complete astonishment that it made everything better for his buddy. Maybe the aussies have a special new technique.

Unless I hear the word cancer I wont be having surgery leaving me in a diaper. Such a shame.

Yep, everyone who has had prostate removal SURGERY. From what I hear.

Why not try the prescription meds for this that have at least some science and validation behind them? I can never understand people who say they don't like taking meds but are fine with taking "supplements" sourced from who knows where, with who knows what impurities, such as heavy metals, common in supplements sourced from China or India. People here blow a gasket at tires from China, but would ingest things sourced from there? I wouldn't even consider surgery at your stage but neither would I risk my health or wealth on supplements. Funny, the same ingredients are mentioned as being effective for everything from arthritis to indigestion to ED, to prostate enlargement. All at a very premium price.

See Alice is for a different thing? Or does it help you pee as well?

It greatly improved my BPH - I only get up once or twice a night and if I didn't still drink beer until bedtime I'd probably survive until morning. Daytimes went from periodic frequent
urgent episodes to once every 3-4 hrs with no urgency. It's helped my marital life as well.
