I generally pick the station on my route that is cheapest. If I see a really good deal, say a quarter under average going price (and I can easily pull into the station) I'll totally top off. I got 7 gallons at a station in Columbia SC Friday for 2.76. going rate was 2.99-3.09 that day. So what if I get 7 gallons of non top tier fuel, my truck sees at least 75% top tier. 2 bucks is 2 bucks. I look at it like this, my next fountain drink (I love em) is basically free because I save that 1.90 or so.
