Another key programming success

First the Subaru Impreza last month and today I was able to program this $20 Ebay proximity key https://www.ebay.com/itm/382668882546? using the Xtool programmer I bought recently. Dealer wanted $190 for the key + $50 for the blade + $150 to program it. Between the two keys, the programmer has pretty much paid for itself.

That's insane, great work on reprogramming. Did the Xtool clone the key or does it have to connect to Subaru's network for authentication?

Thought we had lost the sole key on a Subaru we had, quoted $1300 for a replacement. Required modules to be replaced. We found it, luckily.

That's for the Ford. Took maybe 5 minutes max.

Third car with a successful key added, Nissan Leaf. Knock-off remote (right) was $20 on Ebay. Just doesn't have the Nissan logo.
