so ive been trying tofu for over a month now. it has allowed me to REALLY cut down on the fats and meats i was use to eating. ive actually eliminated all the red meat and pork. im down to chicken and turky, of those 2 meats, i only eat about a pound a week.
i found some sort of hippy healthfood store that sells lots of tofu and tofu products. they have a soy based chicken mcnugget that is actually really good right out of the box. just fry it up and go. i think im doing good with my low meat diet and the best part is that im actually_starting_to_like_the_taste_of_tofu.

Loved it for years. So many different tastes/textures. We visit two restaurants where everything is soy based. Mother-in-law still thinks she had chicken and prawn/shrimp dishes. Amazing what they do.

I used to pan fry 3/8 inch thick slices of extra dense tofu in a teflon pan with a very small amount of oil and use whatever spices on it I felt like using that day. It was good. It was the only tofu I have ever cared for. Regular constancy tofu makes me feel like hurling.
