You can still hear the fax tones if you want. Every so often I'll hear that when I'm in a doctor's office or somewhere similar where they need a prescription fax.

According to some, global warming will kill us before we lose internet anyway so it won't matter anyway. These scare tactics are a great way for them to ask for more money from the government for research and an excuse to jack up prices to the consumer. Remember Enron saying California was running out of electricity?
