Amsoil Power Foam Spray & GDI Applications

Looking at Amsoil's data sheet on "Power Foam" cleaner I noticed it's not recommended for GDI engines. Their tech support over the phone stated they don't recommended it because it can cause engine damage. The tech was all over the place. It can get in the "nook & crannies" where it's not supposed to be or cause corrosion. The spray's propellant can cause explosions inside the engine. It can displace materials and send them places where they don't need to be. Honestly the tech was trying to help me but I felt like they were all over the place and not really familiar with the correct answer. I'd like to use this to clean the throttle body and intake valves on my GDI 2024 Sierra 1500 5.3 and Subaru Outback 2.5. I've used this product before on a 2022 Jeep 3.6 with multi port injection with good results. Anyways I'm not interested in the pro's/ con's of cleaning my intake valves with spray vs walnut blast. What I'm really interested is how can this product damage a GDI engine? There's similar branded products all over the shelves used for this and no issues. My old 2019 Silverado 5.3 used to get a can of seafoam every oil change sprayed through the throttle body no issues. Unless this can cause LSPI due to possible calcium in the spray? Maybe the reasoning is loose carbon bits causing grit and damage to piston rings. Either way I'd be changing the oils after any of these procedures to prevent oil contamination.

They must have not tested it for that purpose? I know many use the CRC product, and Seafoam also makes a specific spray for GDI cleaning. I used the CRC on the Mazda a while back and it improved the idle.
 
If they don't recommend it I wouldn't use it.
Recommend is a very big gray area. The PDS says "Power Foam is safe for fuel injectors, catalytic converters and emissions-control devices. It will not damage seals, gaskets, rubber or plastic materials commonly used in gasoline engines." Yet in the recommendations section is states "Avoid contact with hoses and exterior plastic components. To prevent the dissolving of paint, do not overspray. Clean any overspray immediately to prevent unintentional component damage" Seems like they are contradicting themselves. So with that being said. What's the reasoning for the GDI part?
