mostly because if Amsoil actually did the testing in a certified test facility, they could actually print those test certification on their labeling and they are noticeably absent...

you'll notice most of their claims aren't really backed up by the certifications to prove it... since the certification process is lengthy and costly, it means they aren't doing the testing in the prescribed manner. Kind of like factory tow ratings... up until the SAE came up with a standard protocol, tow rating where subjective... but once the playing field was described as a process, the tow ratings became very specific. Same applies here. Do you want to believe Amsoil and take their word for it. I mean, they chage 50 bucks a gallon for motor oil, but tend to ask you to take their word for it.
