It's on the larger side, but shiny metal flakes in oil filters is normal. I have shared my observation here before about metal flakes in oil filters. I've never cut a single engine oil filter that didn't have lots of little metal flakes. Pull the media out tight in the bright sun and you'll see that it's true.
Just checked mine, I’m at 242 idle hours on 62130 miles (~100k km). I wonder if your idling theory is right.
I don’t know exact total hours because it reset itself at the beginning of July 2022. Looking at some records, I’d take a guess at ~2000 total hours (1750 drive hours).
