Amsoil 0W-30

I see that Amsoil 0w30 says it has A3 certs, but I thought A3 was >HTHS of 3.5 and Amsoils site lists it at 3.4. Amsoil dealers please chime in.

Note: I use Amsoil 5-30 in my vette, just noticed this discrepancy during research fro my other cars.

It's not ACEA A3 rated and they should updated that website. RIDICULOUS. It's over 2 years old. You can't meet ACEA A3 with a 3.3 HT/HS.

I'm not sure what message Amsoil is sending - but I have zero understanding why they have not updated the TSO web page for so very long. I've told them many times. I think the Series 2000 name is on the way out - I'm sure Amsoil will have a 0w30 motor oil - but maybe will change the name.

Pablo, I think you're on to something. It would not surprise me at all if they drop the S2k name and or update the oil. Who knows...it's hard to fault anything they have done in the last year as their line up kicks @ss. But they do need to update the PDS IMHO. I'm also part of the .001% fanatic base. Most don't care or know what any of those numbers mean.
