I had 5 recalls while I had my Maverick. It wasn't an issue because they never would fix them and my vehicle never suffered any ills...
Count Ford paint as top notch in My last 7 Fords... Honda paint a big fat Zero...

The paint on the Maverick is very low maintemance. Any decent rainshower makes it look acceptable. Hand wash it and it glows like the sun and can anywhere from a light greenish gray to a neutral gray to a bluish gray. When the body shop (at a GM dealer who worked with Geico) did a paint reconditioning after hundreds, yes hundreds of small hail dings and it made the Cactus Gray paint come alive, and still looks that way 2 years later.

for me all it takes is one occurrence. I wouldn't be found in one and definitely would not put my wife and kids in one. Are they good cars probably they look decent the tech scares me and hazards of owning one. In the short time they’re on the roadways the incidents are too extreme vs a combustion engine vehicle
