The numbers are very interesting to me.
First, I find it very interesting that even if you include that brands that did not qualify for the study, there is only a 106 point spread between Tesla (920) and Chrysler (814). I'm curious what that says. Does it mean that overall, that cars are very satisfying to the consumer? Or are there flaws in the study, so that it doesn't discriminate well enough, to show the differences?
Second, it is interesting that Ford (849), Chevrolet (850), and Buick (848) ranked higher than Toyota (839) and Honda (838).
Also interesting is that Subaru (838) owners find their cars just as satisfying as Toyota and Honda owners do theirs. Before someone points out that Subaru scored lower than Toyota, can we agree that with only a 1 point spread between these 3, that there is statistically, no difference between these 3 brands. And we can also say the same is true for Chevrolet, Ford and Buick.

Yup, There's something special about a car that is has the reliability of a Camry, and drives as nice as it does.

The Model 3 in white especially is so ugly I have to think about puppies stuffed with kittens just to stave off the depression that plastic popcorn bowl.on wheels makes me feel at every traffic light here

for me all it takes is one occurrence. I wouldn't be found in one and definitely would not put my wife and kids in one. Are they good cars probably they look decent the tech scares me and hazards of owning one. In the short time they’re on the roadways the incidents are too extreme vs a combustion engine vehicle

I think your comments are right on. I've rented a few Chrysler products over the years - or to be precise have rented cars and then been stuck with a Chrysler product. Strangely enough (strange to me anyway) I ended up liking them quite a lot. A couple of weeks ago I rented a Jetta (deliberately in this case). Other than all the hard plastics in the interior I liked it too - and it had amazing fuel economy. And I really like the styling of modern Hyundais and Kias.
All that to say that all auto makers currently make pretty desirable products - with the biggest difference being reliability. I wouldn't buy a Jetta or a Chrysler (Stellantis if you insist) or a Hyundai or a Kia product because I have concerns about their reliability. And the lack of reliability is not likely to be a factor in the first 90 days.
[Though to admit the contrary point, the 6 speed manual transmission in my 2007 Honda Accord had to be replaced right out of the gate - and that was about the only thing that has gone wrong in the past 19 years.]
