I have a good number of GTX Synblend 5w30 and EDGE SPT 5w30 jugs in my stash. The blend was for a car we dont have anymore. I have now decided to use 5w30 in the the Sonata 2.4 seen in the signature, and not 5w20 (not that I'm anti-xw20). As my signature suggests, my intention is to alternate these oils every oci. There shouldn't be an issue, correct?

Hyundai 2.4 4cyl, non-turbo, GDi.

IMO...You could blend both Castrol oils 50/50 each OCI and simplify matters. That way you know what is in your engine....all of the time.

I'd probably run through all of the GTX blend and then go with the Edge.
I doubt that it would make much difference either way.
