I've seen restaurant owners tell people they've had all they could eat at all you can eat buffets.

Mm, yes, I got about an hour of enjoyment and cackles out of watching John Pinette videos on YouTube. Definitely a very, very talented comedian.

In a sea of unfunny comedians, he's a life raft of comedy.

He's a whale of a guy!!

OT..
I had a friend that was a baseball player. He went into a restaurant with 3 other players to dine in and they ordered 2/3rds of the ENTIRE MENU. The manager came out and made them pay up front before they'd cook it all. So I can definitely believe they would be hated at all you can eat places. The literal comment I recall was "Yes, we'd like to have these 3 pages."

True story. At Peony Chinese Restaurant in Westside Ft Worth.

A....ahem...very round woman was at the buffet in front of me picking the steak out of the pepper steak. None of that pesky green stuff for her. She was being very thorough and taking quite a bit of time and so I helped myself to the tray next to her. Kung Pao or something....as soon as I did she struck my serving spoon with hers, "I'M GETTING THAT NEXT!"

"All of it?"

She did not like my question.

Thanks guys this reminds me of my fiance aunt . 400 lbs plus Ans insists on wearing the skimpiest clothes around and eats everything she sees. Last Christmas I saw her and in front of everyone she announced that she was on a diet . We were all going around an announcing something new in our lives . It's a little tradition they do . Well as soon as she said that I said before thinking me to the see food and eat it diet. I didn't mean it offensively but she sure took it that way

LOL! Almost all of the AYCE (all you can eat) buffet restaurants in our are typically impose 2 rules: (a)max allowable time is typically 2hrs or less, with some of them set to 1.5hrs (from the moment you check in); (b ) no food to be wasted (will be billed if there's obvious left-behind on the table.

As my metabolism goes down, so is my appitite. I now typically consumes 1/3 ~ 1/5 of what I used to eat in the 20s....weight-gain is not too much of a concern but more like health related matters (still slim by NA standards).

Q.
