This belongs in a Motorcycle engine oil forum, but the Motorcycle UOA forum didn't seem the right venue, so asking here. Anyone know which Grp IV PAO based synthetic oil specifically for motorcycles (JASO MA, MA2) use Alkylated Naphthalene (an aromatic) as the carrier for the additive package? Exxon-Mobile cites that it is being increasingly used in place of Ester as an add pack carrier in motorcycle oil but does not indicate whether their own PAO motorcycle oil, Mobil 1 Racing 4T 10W-40, utilizes AN or uses their Esterex ester product as the carrier.

ExxonMobil replaced the ester in their Mobil 1 motor oil formulations with AN, so I would expect they probably did the same in their motorcycle oils. Either would work fine, although I prefer polyol ester for their lubricity and cleanliness.
