advice on how to clean brake caliper

I got new brake caliper pins, what is the best way to clean the holes that the pins go into? thx

I would use same diameter drill bits, but only by hand. Then use silicone high temperature brake lube.

If the grease in the pin bores is really bad, I'll (carefully) run a clean rag in/out with a screwdriver. You can spray brake cleaner in the bores too, just make sure they're dried out before putting the cleaned, greased pins back in.

Alternately, you could use some gun cleaning brushes. Bottom line, lubrication is your best friend
