i have started hearing about running fleet oils in my car. i would liek to have more input on this matter. my car has 160k miles and have seen regular dino oil, penz..mobil drive clean is what i got now. i want an oil that will protect and clean but not damage my engine or my emissions. i am very shallow on desil products so fill me. i did a search but there isnt too much in this forum.

i run 10w30 in my accord which calls for 5w30 since its 91 accord. should i run it or not?

I just put in 15w-40 Chevron Delo 400 in a '95 Chevrolet Lumina (110,000 on it) today. Drove it about 100 miles today and the oil consumption has stopped (And I was running Valvoline MaxLife before and it did nothing!).

No more noise at startup than before, neither is it harder starting.

Payed $6.17/gallon at Wal-Mart.

Justin.

no, it won't hurt anything I've posted this before look at the additive packages in Amsoil Redline or Schaeffers. don,t know why people think heavy duty oils cause problems .The oils are available in 10w/30

If you're that cheap I recommend running motorvator oil. (Just kidding!!)

Use Chevron 10w40 or 10w30 if you want to be cheap!!
